Therapies & Healthy Chocolate & DessertsWELCOME TO MY WEBSITESWEET SENSATIONS If you love sweet food and chocolate, but want or need to eat healthily then take a look at this aspect of my work. Through raw chocolate workshops, chocolate making kits, recipe booklets, raw food and superfood ingredients, I can show you how to recreate your favourite recipes without using sugar, dairy or wheat. There really is no end to the amount of guilt-free treats you can make and eat! For more information, visit www.sweetsensations.uk.com. THERAPIES I offer Massage, Reflexology and BioEnergiser treatments. I've been in practice since 1993 and am fully qualified and insured. I'm a full member of the professional organisation Embody. I practise from my home in Muswell Hill, North London (N10) and also at Shell Centre in Waterloo (sessions here are only available for Shell employees). For more information on treatments and prices, click on the buttons on the left. NETWORKING FOR SMALL BUSINESSES Having been self employed since the early 1992, I'm very aware of all the joys and challenges of working for yourself. Together with my business partner, Dominique Meeroff, I've created Small Business Network, a vibrant community for micro businesses and the self employed. We hold friendly, low-cost, effective networking meetings twice a month in North London. Our website and twice monthly e-newsletter offer lots of tips and support on running your own business. For more information, click on this link - www.smallbusinessnetwork.biz. ABOUT LIZ I love everything to do with alternative health, healthy eating and healing. I first became involved in these areas back in 1992 when I trained in massage and reflexology. In 2002 I went on an extended trip to Australia. There, among other things (it was a great trip!) I experimented with eating a diet high in raw food, and found that it suited me. As I love my sweet food and chocolate, when I got back to the UK, I started to experiment with sweeteners like xylitol and agave syrup, and the new raw chocolate which came onto the market a year or so later. I was amazed at what you can make without having to use sugar, dairy or wheat. Several years on I still get so excited about all this, as new products are continually coming onto the market which can help us to recreate the tastes and textures of the recipes we love, but without all the 'nasties' thrown in. And I get so excited about showing other people (through workshops, recipe booklets and chocolate making kits) how easy it is, and how much fun it is to make anything from chocolate bars to cheesecakes, truffles, ice creams and gourmet desserts. No deprivation necessary! Some of the things I love: my family, including my gorgeous toddler nephew and baby niece; my great friends; reading a good novel; pottering around my flat; making up new sweet recipes; classical music; sleeping; the great local women's gym I go to, which must be the easiest way to get fit imaginable - www.circuit76.co.uk; looking at the sunset through my kitchen doors; long hot baths; being on the receiving end of therapies like massage, reflexology, cranio-sacral therapy etc (this particular list is very long); and last but not at all least: personal development, healing and trying to work out what it's all about.... |
